Fire retardant sports bra
Stand 21 was the first company to design and produce a fire-retardant brassiere for women drivers, first used in IndyCar racing over 10 years ago by Danica PATRICK and Catherine LEGGE, among others. The bra has been developed in collaboration with Dr. Terry Trammell and Ms. Jenny Stewart, Technical Commissioner in charge of safety in IndyCar.
This bra does not contain any metal or plastic underwire, materials likely to cause skin burn. It is a double layer crop top that is comfortable and soft against the skin, while providnig support.
Stand 21 have now improved the bra, in collaboration with Michèle Mouton, Chairman of the F.I.A. Women’s Committee in Motorsports, Cathy Muller and Marianne Alais. It has been successfully tested in Indy car, Drag racing and other forms of top-level auto racing
SFI 3.3 certified.
